Wireless internet enabled handheld and laptop computers are becoming common. They're being used by people who want to leave their desks and work anywhere they can be comfortable and get online. To do this they need establishments that provide wireless internet access - known as "hotspots".

Currently Britain ranks No. 2 in the world in wireless hotspot locations, according to the Wi-Fi Alliance and, with the United States, accounts for nearly half of the world 10,800 wireless locations.

Many businesses in London are now hosting free wi-fi hot-spots to attract or retain customers. This means that you will never be far from internet connection and communication.
